The Wait (documentary, 25 mins, Dir: Inka Achté)
is a cinematic journey into the lives of three families whose loved ones have disappeared mysteriously. Suspended in a limbo of not being able to let go or embrace the ones they have lost, those left behind go about their mundane activities, talking to the ones they miss in an intimate voice over. The absence around them is all pervasive, each moment and action heavy with anticipation.
